What happens when one enrolls in a plan shown on the exchange, but doesn’t really exist?
These screen shots show that Covered CA quoted a woman born February 1958 and lives in Zip Code 90732 to be able to enroll in a Blue Cross HMO plan which doesn’t exist! Check this out on Quotit and Blue Cross. We’ve emailed Covered CA, etc. asking for an explanation. They are welcome to reply in the comments section.
Here’s a response from Blue Cross – We are offering HMO plans , however we experienced a glitch with the online process and temporarily turned if off, I’ll check and see if it’s back up and running.
